Senior Mobile Engineer — Swift & Kotlin, EV charging

Four per cent battery. Rain coming in sideways. You’re standing beside a charger and need to know three things: is it available, what will it cost, and has the session started?

That’s the mobile problem here. The app has to make a complicated world of charging networks, cars, tariffs and energy feel simple to the person using it.

This business began with three founders who thought EV charging could be cheaper and smarter. It now supports mobility businesses across Europe. They’ve grown quickly, and the engineering approach is evolving with that growth. Mobile is one of the areas where they’re getting more deliberate.

I’m looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer who’s built production software with Swift on iOS and Kotlin on Android. React Native experience is useful too. You can be stronger on one native platform, but I do want to hear about meaningful work you’ve shipped on the other.

There’s a proper product behind the role: public and home charging, live sessions, clear prices, smart charging and rewards. The interesting bit is making all that work for somebody who simply needs to charge their car and get on with their day.

You’ll be joining during a period of growth and change. Priorities can move, and there are decisions still being made about how the team grows. I’ll be honest about that, and we’ll talk properly about the scope and where you want your career to go.
