Remote-first team. Helping contribute to the Stacks ecosystem, improving the efficiency and functionality of the Stacks blockchain and its proof of transfer consensus mechanism.

What needs doing;

• Design, implement, and test Rust-based code for the Stacks Bitcoin Layer 2.
• Participate in protocol-level design and open-source software development.
• Review code, debug, and write test cases.
• Contribute to architecture and design, collaborating across the team to deliver high-quality production-level code.

Tools;

• 6+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in backend languages such as Rust, C/C++, or Java, with a strong interest in Rust programming.
• Experience with monitoring and testing practices.
• Keen interest in blockchain development and the Bitcoin network.

Preferred Experience:

• Contributions to open-source projects.
• Experience working in distributed teams.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with open-source developers.

Pays really well. Remote. Production experience in Rust is a massive plus.
