We’re helping build the technical foundations of something quietly powerful: an AI-native platform rethinking how modern finance teams operate behind the scenes. It’s early, but the traction’s real, and the opportunity to shape is massive.

This role sits at the intersection of backend and infrastructure, ideal for an engineer who can write production-grade TypeScript and spin up secure, scalable cloud infrastructure with Pulumi on GCP. You’re not expected to be a full-time platform engineer (yet), but you are someone who loves clean architecture, thoughtful tooling, and building for scale.

🛠 What you’ll be working on

• Designing and maintaining cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform, with a strong focus on VPC networking, IAM, and cost-effective architecture
• Building out and maintaining Pulumi-based infrastructure-as-code
• Shipping TypeScript backend code that ties infrastructure and application layers together (e.g., APIs, workflows, automation)
• Contributing to and owning parts of our SOC2 compliance journey (using Vanta)
• Collaborating with AI/ML and product teams to ensure infra supports the pace and direction of the business
• Helping lay the foundation for internal tooling, CI/CD, and platform best practices

🧩 About you

• You’ve got strong experience with TypeScript in a backend context (this isn’t a frontend role)
• You’ve built, deployed, and maintained systems on GCP, and understand things like VPCs, IAM, networking, and cloud architecture
• You’re comfortable with Pulumi (or have used Terraform/CDK and can pick it up quickly)
• You’ve worked in environments with SOC2, ISO27001, or similar compliance standards
• You thrive in early-stage or fast-paced teams and enjoy wearing a few hats, backend, infra, architecture, process

✨ Bonus points for

• Experience with LLMs, data infra, or event-driven architecture
• A track record of improving developer experience or shipping internal tools
• Contributions to open-source infra tooling or backend libraries
