A lot of companies are currently hiring “AI Engineers”.

Most of them are looking for somebody to wire together APIs and call it innovation.

This isn’t that.

We’re looking for a strong engineer who can help us build products that people actually use.

You’ll be joining a small team building AI-powered software for healthcare professionals. The product exists, customers are using it, and there is no shortage of technical challenges ahead.

Some of them involve AI.

Some of them involve software engineering.

Most involve both.

What you’ll be doing

• Building new product functionality
• Designing and improving backend services
• Working with retrieval, search and AI-powered systems
• Solving real-world engineering problems
• Working closely with product and engineering colleagues
• Taking ideas from concept through to production

What we’re looking for

You’ve probably spent several years building software before AI became the topic of every conference and LinkedIn post.

You understand engineering fundamentals.

You care about maintainability.

You know how to work with other people.

You communicate well.

You’ve likely worked in a startup or scale-up before and understand that not every problem comes with a ticket attached to it.

Experience with AI, machine learning, retrieval systems, LLMs, search, knowledge graphs or related technologies is valuable.

What’s more important is the ability to learn, adapt and solve problems.
