🚀 Senior Backend / Platform Engineer

Amsterdam / Remote | 80k - 95k | Permanent

Location: Netherlands, remote first – travel to office from time to time.

Salary: €80K–€95K + equity

Stealth mode, but already signed first customer. This is a product to help CFOs operate like it’s the future, giving them real leverage over data, processes, and decision-making.

The traction is real( already a team of 10). Now it’s time to lay the technical foundation for scale.

What you’ll be doing:

• Design and build backend services and infrastructure from scratch
• Own the platform architecture and evolve it with long-term goals in mind
• Lead implementation of SOC2 and help prepare the platform for serious scrutiny
• Develop clean APIs (NestJS), automate infra (Pulumi).
• Help shape CI/CD, cloud setup (GCP), observability, and DevOps culture
• Partner closely with the CTO. High-impact, highly visible role

Tools:

• 6–10+ years of engineering experience
• Strong in TypeScript, Node.js, and cloud-native architectures
• Solid background with infra-as-code, CI/CD, and cloud (GCP preferred, AWS/Azure okay)
• Familiarity with platform security, networking, and compliance (SOC2, ISO, etc.)
• Someone who thrives in startup chaos and cares about doing things right
• Comfortable being a technical adult in the room
