Backend engineer, for a BioTech company that just raised Series A funding

What You’ll Do:

🔧 Develop a decoupled, service-oriented platform powered by advanced machine learning.

🔧 Help establish a stable, high-quality, flexible software engineering process.

🔧 Collaborate with biologists, machine learning experts, and scientists

What they’re looking For:

💻 3+ years of experience developing backend systems in a modern cloud environment.

🛠️ Mastery of software development best practices (code reviews, version control, CI/CD).

📝 Proficient in writing clear, readable code.

🗣️ Excellent communication skills, crucial for bridging biology and software.

🤝 A team player who fosters a positive, friendly work environment.

Bonus Points For:

🐍 Extensive Python knowledge.

🔄 Understanding of application development lifecycle, testing principles, and agile practices.

💾 Experience with databases or big data systems.

🧠 Background in production systems for machine learning applications.

🐳 Familiarity with containerized backend systems (Docker, Kubernetes)
