Someone who’s worked across languages, has opinions on architecture that go beyond the framework, and picks the right tool without getting precious about it. Golang, Kotlin, Python, you’ve been around. .NET just happens to be what’s in front of you right now. You’ll pick it up. That’s not even the question.

What they actually care about is this. You’ve worked at a product company with real scale, hundreds to thousands of B2B customers, real money moving, real consequences when things break. You understand distributed systems not from a blog post but from having built and broken them in production. You know what Kafka is for and when not to use it. You’ve had the conversation with a product manager where you pushed back because you knew something they didn’t, and you were right.

You don’t need a detailed spec to get started. You don’t need someone to tell you what the problem is. You walk into a domain, you understand it faster than most, and you make the people around you better just by being there. That’s the bar raiser bit. Not a title. A standard.

Stack: .NET/C#, PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Kubernetes, GCP. You’ll work alongside mobile engineers on Swift and Kotlin, ML teams on Python, and frontend on React. It’s genuinely cross-functional and they actually mean it.
