Team Lead – .NET / Azure

Most people see EV charging as simple. Plug in, charge, drive away.

Behind that: charging hardware, roaming partners, payment systems, energy pricing and grid capacity, all coordinating in real time across 10 countries. This company builds the platform that makes it work, millions of sessions, priced, routed and settled correctly, at scale.

They’re hiring a Team Lead for one of the core platform teams. Here’s the interesting part: you don’t need to have been one before.

If you’re a strong senior who’s been circling leadership, mentoring, leading projects, being the person the team actually listens to — this is a real path in, not a title change. You’d grow into the full remit over your first 3–6 months, with C-level backing, until you own it outright:

• Delivery – the team hits its OKRs, and you clear whatever’s in the way
• People – 1:1s, development reviews, real coaching on skills and accountability
• Team shape – spotting capability gaps, leading hiring, making the harder calls
• Alignment —-across departments, and with where the company is heading
• Strategy – a seat at the table advising leadership on how the organisation scales

You bring:

• 5+ years engineering C#/.NET at senior level
• Azure ecosystem hands-on – Azure Functions, Service Bus / event-driven and microservice patterns
• Infrastructure as Code (Bicep or Terraform) and solid CI/CD habits
• Experience where reliability and correctness matter – integrations with external parties, transactional systems, billing, or similar
• Evidence of informal leadership: mentoring, leading projects, driving standards
